Side-by-side with commercial product development we invest in forward-looking research by cooperating with academic institutes.
The bi-directional relationship lets us share our practical knowledge and experience with researchers and engineering students, while absorbing the latest innovations in academic research.
During 2013, we cooperated with Tel Aviv University Faculty of Engineering to design a racecar for Formula SAE. This was the first year that the university participated in the formula SAE race.
We instructed engineering students during the design, manufacturing and integration of the entire propulsion assembly and powertrain.
The racecar successfully participated in Formula SAE Italy 2013, which took place at the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti race track.
Starting 2015, we’ll be conducting joint research with the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, in the areas of advanced ignition mechanisms, innovative engine diagnostics, and engine efficiency improvements.
